Expired Film

My lovely friend Erin was nice enough to give me some old instant film. She warned me that the film was expired but I shot with it anyway and something really cool happened. The left over chemicals created an abstract landscape. I really liked them and created these triptychs.

Dreamers

Last night I watched "Waking Life" again. I thought it was such a perfect time to watch it considering the way I've been feeling. Anyway, I thought I'd share some of my favorite quotes from the film.

Anticipating great things...

I am so happy today because I got a bunch of antique cameras in the mail AND I got a great deal on a printer! I have so many small projects that I'm working on, it seems like I'm always spreading myself too thin. I have felt a little down this past month because I have not been getting to see the result of my ideas but I think with these new tools I can really gain some momentum on at least a couple projects.
I am so excited for the future. There is nothing better than the first weeks that spring emerges. It's like the sunshine makes us come alive. Jonny and I are busy making plans for our escape. It's helping me feel motivated and I really think that some good things are waiting just around the corner.

Convergence Series

This is a series of watercolor paintings I made in Iceland. I was intrigued by the way water moves through the landscape, different streams coming together and separating.

I am obsessed with iPhone Pano.

When I was in Iceland I was amazed by the landscape, particularly the way rivers and streams were formed. I am currently working on some drawings based on Icelandic Rivers, I'll post them later but for now here is a photo I found on google.

I feel like miniature animals find me wherever I go. This one lives in San Francisco.
